Can you design a HTML button? Want to trade?

I am not computer savvy...I am thinking my 4 year old, Savvy, will be surpassing my computer skills soon enough....I say by 6 she will certainly have me beat! Seriously, this kiddo is amazing on pbskids.org!

I would love an HTML button for my Savvylicious Sweets site that will be relaunching soon ... I want to work with more bloggers and want to be able to provide them a "button" for the site .... but I don't know how to create one.....I know ... I know...I could buy one...but I am all about being "frugal" and love to trade :) So if you can create one and have a blog or a store that you would like advertised...I will trade you space on my sidebar on this site...I have my logo that I would like used...simply need you to insert the code for me..send me an email if you are interested.

And yes...I do recommend bartering for services...we all have something of value in this case it would be advertising in trade for designing skill....in this economy why not try bartering?!

I went to the Dollar Tree and saw a sign about shopping online and have your goods sent to your local store for pick up at no charge...I thought that was pretty cool when planning a fiesta! One of the things that is kinda cool and kinda not cool is that you never know what little treasure you are going to find in this store. This is what makes it such a cool treasure hunt but also can be frustrating when planning a fiesta!

No you can go on-line HERE and order what you need...you do need to purchase in bulk though so I really see the benefit when planning a party.

SheCon Blogger's Conference {My Ramblings!}

I went to SheCon and was super excited about the people I met at the conference but I have to tell ya if it were not local and free for me I would have been pretty disappointed. The first thing that went terribly wrong was the date...apparently a HUGE Triple XXX convention was going on at the Miami Convention center this weekend? Who Knew? Well, apparently more people knew about that convention then knew about SheCon!

The downside - feeling terribly overweight and overdressed as a walked through the entrance to attend my convention....
The upside - the porno convention had an Awesome pink carpet welcoming you to their convention...I felt like a pretty pink princess for a minute :)

and yes...the whole time I am snapping pictures on my phone and sending them to my husband .... bet he will want to go to the next convention?!

The downside of the convention - my goodie bag did not have a schedule in it and I couldn't figure out what was going on when because everything seemed pretty empty.
The upside of the convention - I got to really look at some cool products and talk to the reps at each booth....You KNOW I headed straight to the "Liquid Gold" booth....ah.....New England Coffee and Bailey's creamer.....loving it....

The downside - there were not a lot of vendors in the vendor hall.
The upside - the vendors that were there were quality vendors! American Standard, Wilson, Chevrolet to name a few!

The upside/upside - The Balancing Act had a booth at the convention and I love this show! They are all about empowering woman and they helped us spread the word about organ donation a while back when our own little Savvy was the "star" of the show ... well...our segment ;)

Overall, I personally had a great time and met fabulous bloggers .... when I returned on Sunday the expo hall was already shut down at 10:30 am....it was not scheduled to open until 11 am.... the lack of bloggers in attendance was clearly something the vendors were not pleased with ... and I can't blame them! It will be interesting to see what happens with this convention next year....well....atleast I know the porn convention is not going anywhere! Who knew one could wear 9 inch heals with amazing balance?!

Things are Good! {My Ramblings...}

It has been a little while and I wanted to update you on why I was M.I.A. Savvy has been sick for various reasons leading her in and out of the hospital. The most severe being for internally bleeding. Turns out she had varices in her esophagus that bled and required surgery. Her "Gift"...her donor liver and her native veins have not grown up with her and so essentially there was a back flow of blood causing her to bleed internally.

We flew to Philly so her transplant team could head her treatment and she had the balloon dilation (similar to angioplasty for the heart)...we had complications...they saw a clot, the was bleeding out and required a blood transfusion, and more details that I just don't care to relive...needless to say within hours of her surgery and minutes of a Massive amount of blood leaving my child's body she told the drs she needed a "boo boo sticker" for her "stinky foot"...yup....that is my kid!

We are home...she is home with the boogies...and let me tell you...I am thrilled to have a sick kid at home simply because it is "normal" sick kid stuff...the yucky aspect is that she is missing out on her swimming at school but the good thing is well....everything!

I will be returning to my blogging....and actually doing so with a BaNg since I will be attending SheCon this weekend! I have to tell ya...NEVER did I think when I started blogging that I would be heading to a convention!! Yup...it is local and it is free to attend...you know me ;)

Savvy is still sick .... {My Ramblings}

Savvy has been in and out of the hospital. To make a long story kinda short she started bleeding internally and ended up in the PICU due to varices in her esophagus and then a week later released and ended up back for a hospital stay due to an asthma attack...it all boils down to the fact that she needs a type of surgery. Her new liver and her native vein structure that connects them have not grown with her and she needs to have this repaired.

We are leaving for Philadelphia early in the morning...just wanted to take a moment to thank each of you that have reached out to us and have kept our Savvy in your hearts!

Savannah is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit....{My Ramblings}

I have to make this short simply because I am exhausted. We took Savvy to the ER on Sunday night because we suspected she had blood in her stools. Long story short she has been in intensive care since...she had been bleeding internally. It looks like the beautiful liver she has received and the vein structure of her body have not grown as she has grown (remember she was transplanted at the age of 1) and this has caused a bit of a mess :(

It has been a surreal time lately in our home but I always have to look at the bright side...it is a kinda annoying aspect of my personality. This evening I am home for the first time since Sunday night. Super Papi is with his girl. Her hemoglobin is stable as of today and she is with us...watching her as she slept and not knowing if she would wake...well...I am just thankful for so much!!!!!

As not to be all...boohoooing about life because frankly my Warrior Princess will be okay!! I will move on to My blog....I made a promise a few months back that I would participate in Blogmania! I have not promoted it in anyway for as you know well....life has thrown us some curve balls...well...Blogmania starts in a few hours and I have been wanting to do a giveaway with Savvylicious Sweets...so I will be posting the Giveaway!! Please forgive me if I don't announce the winner as soon as I should but I thought it would be a fun distraction :)

When it Rains...it PoUrS! {My Ramblings}

As I have shared Savvy was very sick and hospitalized for a few weeks this past month...things are so much better with her today. She is so looking forward to her "brothers" (cousins) coming down to visit during their Spring Break. We had some ups and downs this past week with believe it or not BOTH of our cars breaking down. My car broke down on Friday and then smoke started coming out of my husband's car on Monday...surreal. We felt pretty lucky though because the weather has been beautiful in Florida which allows my husband to drive his motorcycle to work.....well....then......my husband was in a motorcycle accident. A gentleman cut across three lanes of traffic and never stopped (literally never stopped until witnesses followed the van and had him pull over to wait for the police!)...fortunately a police officer from another county was a few cars behind my husband and was able to make sure he was okay and then met the good samaritans and made the van wait while he called the local police department.

Super Papi is home recovering ...can't walk or move really even with the pain meds but thankfully Nurse Savvy put some Strawberry Shortcake bandaids on him and he swears that is making him feel better :) So....I KNOW how much I have been slacking on this site...and frankly on my finances because I haven't been able to keep any sense of a routine in our lives...but I do have what money can not buy and that is my family at home with me....although a bit banged up...they are HERE!

My sister will be helping out with this site. When she visits during Easter I will be showing her how ... well I used to do things...and she is going to help me so hopefully things will get into somewhat of a rhythm soon....

Finally Checked Out Aldi's....and LOVED it!

My mom and I went to check out our local Aldi's which has been open for a bit now but with the craziness of my life recently I had not had a chance....we walked out of the store and my mom said it beautifully, "I wish we had come when they opened we would have been saving so much all of this time!".

This store only accepted Debit cards, Cash or Food Stamps. You have to deposit a quarter to use the shopping carts...the quarter is refunded to you when you return it. If you want a grocery bag you could purchase it for 6 cents otherwise your products went back to your cart or in the bag you brought it...I thought this was so smart....this is a great way to get people to recycle their bags.

The selection in the store was not a large one. There were very few name brands but the prices were amazing! Milk was $1.99 for a gallon (limit of 10), eggs were 99 cents, the prices were great on {most} things. I still found some items to be a little higher in price but overall the prices were low...heck they had a nice selection of wine for $2.99 ... I can actually afford to get drunk ;) Okay...I am getting carried away now...

Savvy Update ... {My Ramblings}

First and foremost let me say Thank you to all of the well wishes. Savvy is out of the hospital but unfortunately they never learned what it was that made the symptoms show up which led her to be hospitalized in the first place. Trust me when I tell you this child had so much blood taken out and all kinds of tests and yet nothing.

She stopped vomiting without having to take her medication to prevent it on Thursday and I spoke to her teacher on Friday letting her know she should be back in school on Monday....turns out it is Spring Break this week! Kinda funny!

Well, no matter the diarrhea returned today...I have been able to keep her hydrated and there has been no vomiting today so hopefully ... this is just a glitch and tomorrow she wakes up good as new!

Savvy and the Sickees .. {My Ramblings}

Savvy went to the hospital due to dehydration. She has been sick a great deal but just recently the vomit and poopies have been so we could not keep her hydrated. We took a very sick little girl to the ER and ended up being hospitalized. She was released last week and within 24 hours we were back at the ER and getting admitted again.

Savvy was discharged on Friday and again...she is back to the vomit and poopies...thanks to an amazing medication called zofran we have been able to keep her vomit away for 24 hours. Zofran is what they give patients who suffer from nauseau due to chemo...so it is a pretty intense medication...luckily it worked for us yesterday. Last week, not even the zofran, or an injection of zofran could keep her from vomiting.

Today, I am nervous she is still pretty fragile...I took her to the pediatrician to make sure she was not dehydrated this morning and will be taking her daily until this "thing" resolves itself.

This happened to her a year and a half ago...not fun...she was hospitalized for weeks and no answer was ever found. All of the tests, scopes, etc came out negative and this time around the same thing is happening.

I just wanted to thank you all who have left a comment or sent a message...it truly warms my heart to know that you are out there sending positive thoughts and prayers to my little Warrior Princess!

Savvy is in the Hospital....{My Ramblings}

We did go to see her transplant team last week only to return home and have Savvy admitted to our local children's hospital. This is why I have not blogged. Tonight...I am home while Super Papi stays with Savvy and gives me a bit of a break...although I don't think I will sleep much being away from her but I am going to try..maybe I will get more rest then that of the chair in her room provides...or atleast I will get a shower with warm water to start my day off.

My Warmest thoughts are with you all!

Aveda Haircuts...on a budget?!

Well, it is time for me to chop off my hair and donate it to Locks of Love. I decided to look online to see if I could find a salon that accepts the donation....and guess what I found?! Aveda has student institutes! They happen to have one in my area...now, I did know that the Aveda student institutes existed. I have actually visited one in St. Petersburg and it was an amazing experience. It was the best...seriously...I wanted my eyebrows wax and got a foot massage, candles, relaxation galore...it was amazing and the price....$10 + tip!

You do have an instructor come afterwards and ask you how things went and the student is what I believe to be "required" to try to sell you product (but don't must places do this) afterwards. I called the Aveda Institute and found out that they do accept Locks of Love donations as well....I am excited...and just wanted to share with you in case you were looking for a budget friendly haircut and one of the Aveda Institutes is near you. A Year Ago....{My Ramblings}

A year ago I started this blog to share the deals I was finding on the web. Over the year the blog has grown and things have changed....I started to do reviews and giveaways and loved it! I did so well in saving my family money and in giving to others.....and then the holidays hit and I became overwhelmed. I feel I owe an explanation to those who have followed this blog and who send me emails...you are so wonderful!

During the holidays I was on an emotional rollercoaster because as you may know 3 years ago my daughter received a liver transplant...it is a sad and joyous occasion.. a very emotional time. We celebrated her birthday...4!!! And then I became sick...it was bad. I was up on Christmas Eve wrapping presents and throwing up...no way I was going to miss the event. The whole family got sick. I had a lot of giveaways running and my blog became a bit of a burden on me...yup...I am not a super blogger I guess....

We celebrated Savvy's liver anniversary at the Ronald McDonald House and donated all the gifts that we had collected all year. I have to do a special post on this...unfortunately, I have yet to find my camera ... my hopes is that I just misplaced it and did not leave it behind...either way I will share the evenings events on another post...it was a lovely and yet very emotional day. I couldn't function...seriously, the day was busy and I got nothing done because I kept doing things "off"...I baked a cake and forgot the eggs, I grabbed my purse but not my wallet with my license...I was just being air headed all day and am grateful to the friends I had come over to celebrate with us...not sure if I would have made it out the door without them....

I tried to blog and coupon but things were just off .... I started a business with a dear friend that I will also share with you....I will tell you more about it later but here is our Facebook page {Savvylicious Sweet Designs}.

Today, I am home with Savvy. She has been sick this week with diarrhea, vomiting and today....a fever. I am exhausted even after my liquid gold but grateful it is Saturday and Super Papi is taking good care of our little Warrior Princess. I feel guilty that I have let my business partner take care of every order this week since Savvy has been sick. I feel exhausted and then it clicked....I really miss this blog.

I started my blog to help my family and help others and I let it overwhelm me...I tried to keep up with what other blogs were doing and you know....I am me. I am a Mami who tries my best and screw up. I screwed up in trying to make this blog bigger and better rather then simply ... my blog...and that is why it became a burden rather then my happy place to go and save some money.

I looked at our savings since I stopped regularly blogging and you know what? I screwed up there...we have spent more then normal...not good. So, I am going to get back to blogging about savings. I will still do giveaways and reviews but not as many as I did in December. I am going to get back to being....me....and running my {Frugal Family} :)

I will let you all know when I am not going to blog and am going to take time off because frankly it was rude of me to simply disappear and for this I apologize.

New Year's Resolution...{My Ramblings}

I know we are well in to the New Year but for me...it feels like I haven't had my new beginning yet. I finally got myself to the doctor (typically, Mami...I have take Savvy so many times but ignored the fact that I can barely breathe)...turns out I am using about 30% of my lungs functions...I got a shot of Prednisone and some antibiotics so I am hoping within a few days things will get better....

So my New Year's resolution is to take care of myself....I know sounds selfish for a Mami but I looked at Savvy and realized I want her to grow up loving herself because darn it she is the most wonderful thing in the world! I realize that I need to model that for her....so as I am almost 40 I need to get myself together....meaning I need to take care of myself.

Today, I was at the doctor's....got my medication, breathing treatment, found out my blood pressure is high and need to follow up on other things...tomorrow...off to the dermatologist...I have a mole that is funky looking that I have ignored...not cool. Time to take care of myself. Made an appointment for a GI at the end of the month and you know what....I may even throw in a selfish pedicure this month....nothing cures things more then the toes looking {purdeeeeeee} ...

Guess what I got in the mail today? A flyer with a coupon for a {Free} 2 Topping pizza from Papa John's.

We have had a string of {boogies} in our home the past 2 months or so...just can't seem to keep a healthy family with the New Year's being no different...I am just getting rid of very severe "something" ... well .. about 2 weeks ago we were just beat and broke down and called Papa John's...you know a treat we just gave ourselves and frankly the Papa John's commercial on television kinda helped sway us... we waited an hour and then called the store...the pizza was late and we were starved. We didn't complain just wondered about the time and understood that the delivery person {who was just as sweet as can be} went to the complex down the street with a similar name...no biggie...we ate our pizza and loved every minute of it!

Out of Town....{My Ramblings}

I will be out of town with my daughter filming a DVD for the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA)...they are an amazing non-profit organization that we have been blessed with in our lives. We will be returning in time to celebrate Savvy's 3rd liver anniversary ... we will celebrate at the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Lauderdale delivering the donations we have collected this year through Mami on a McMission....we have a busy and wonderful schedule this week!

I shall return on January 3rd to begin my "regular" blogging schedule....wishing you a safe and wonderful week!

I have been really fortunate to host a lot of great giveaways on my blog. I started to gain interest in hosting my own giveaways when I realized that I {love} entering giveaways on blogs! When I or you enter a giveaway on a blog we have a better shot of winning! The thing is that even popular giveaways will have a few hundred entries and some may even have a few thousand (if you are a fan of Bakerella like I am...you know that her giveaways will hit 1000s) but your odds are still so much better then entering a sweepstake...blogs are just easier to win because there are fewer entrants then in nationwide campaigns. I have won a lot of wonderful items due to giveaways and frankly many are going to be under our Christmas tree in a few days!

With this said, I won a contest a while back and I wanted to share a special Thank You to Lynda Coker! You see when I entered the contest I wanted to win because this was something I wanted for the "Welcome Wagon". She makes items that I think are ideal for a person in the hospital because they are pretty, easy to pack and easy to wash!

The Flightless Goose Book {Review} and a Thank You for the Donation!

The Flightless Goose by Eric D. Goodman is such a perfect tale for every parent to read their children. It is a simple story but with lots of heart. Gilbert, the goose, suffered a terrible accident (he was hit by a car) and was unable to fly South for the winter. Because he was different due to his injury his friends soon start to make fun of him.

Gilbert develops other abilities that help him and because of it he becomes a hero to his friends. This book is filled with beautiful artwork and is a perfect way to talk to your kids about being different. This is a book that struck home with me as I read it with Savvy for I know that the {beautiful} scar she has on her belly will one day become a topic of discussion with her little friends since they do not have one. My hope is to raise her knowing that so many of us like Gilbert suffer injuries but we overcome them and become stronger because of them.

We all have a {bug} in our house...we ended up canceling our Holiday fiesta this weekend and our plans to meet our nephews in Orlando. Lucky for me I didn't hype up the trip to Savvy so she is simply excited about Christmas and seeing her cousins then. I took Savvy to the doctors today and although she has had a bad cough for a week her chest is clear...Yeah! She just got over having walking pneumonia so we are super lucky that things sound good!!!

I do hope that everyone is enjoying the holiday season ... take some time to slow down and enjoy each other...I have to say that I was having a bit of a "boo hoo" moment since we were all sick this weekend and my grand plans of a family Holiday party were canceled...but I started my morning off with a phone call to a dear friend whose wife is in ICU. She came home from a Holiday fiesta this weekend and had a freak accident walking up her stairs...and broke her neck. I can't even begin to imagine how scared he was and his beautiful daughters. Naomie (our friend) will be in ICU for a week and fitted into a Halo brace...it will take time but we have been blessed and she is able to move and was not paralyzed.

You may remember a post I did about her husband, Tom, and on Sunday Sharing. Here it is. If I may ask...please say a little prayer for her, or think a positive thought, or simply give your family members a hug and a kiss and remind them how loved they are by you.

I certainly did not mean to start this post and put a damper on anything but more to remind you about how precious these moments are...it is not about the gifts, the trees, the decorations, the parties ... these things are all {wonderful} but simply remember that memories are made of the times we spend with each other...just make sure the memories are ones filled with laughter, love, and kindness...because really .. isn't that the gift we all want?

Where is She? {My Ramblings}

Where the heck have I been?! I am here...drowning a little but here. I will come back "full time" in the beginning of the year because...well...as much as I want to be a Super Woman I am not...but that is okay because I am good just being a Mami.

Savvy is super sick today..but you know the drill if you have followed for even a little bit...just par for the course in our lives. The vomit, the boogies, the coughing...my little Warrior Princess looked at me this morning and said, "Mami, I think the medicine is not working...let's try a grape one"...so freaking cute!

She was happy and healthy for her birthday and that is a dream come true!! She celebrates another birthday which is coming up...December 29th! We will be heading to the Ronald McDonald House to honor her 3rd liver anniversary and donate the Welcome Wagon. I still have not purchased the wagon so if anyone has a connection to a toy company that could help me out...I would love it! If not...no worries...it will be our family Christmas gift.

Santa Paws {Review}

Did you watch the clip of The Search for Santa Paws? I know....super cute right?! I have mentioned that Savvy has been sick this past month and although some days are good and some ... well ... not so good. The day we received this movie was on a "not so good" day. When I showed her the package that arrived she stared at it but didn't move from the sofa. When I opened the package and showed her the box...a little flutter occurred and as we laid on the sofa and watched the movie....all of a sudden my little girl forgot how yucky she was feeling and was transported to the magical world of Christmas with sweet Santa Paws leading the way!

This is such a super sweet movie that is filmed in a way that looks like you are watching one of the old classics but set in a modern time. We watched The Search for Santa Paws 3 times in a row that night and I had to explain to Savvy why I had never mentioned that Santa had a best friend who was a doggie (Seriously, can Santa be any cooler??). Our dog, Buddy, not so pleased with the movie...now that Savvy insists that her best friend should wear jingle bells :)

My 4 Year Old...My Gratitude...{My Ramblings}

My Warrior Princess is 4! This past week has been surreal in our home...simply because we were home! Savvy's Godmother flew in to town and we celebrated her 4th birthday with a birthday party .... yup... a bunch of little princes and princesses running around the house hyped up on sugar...and we loved every minute!

I looked out my window as I was getting lunch ready for everyone and saw the kids running around having a great time ... They played pin the tiara on the princess (the dollar store had this adorable game! It was a bit flimsy but when we backed it up with cardboard...it was perfect). They had sack races (who knew these kids were part bunny rabbits??) and their version of musical chairs...no one won or lost...they simply chased each other and had a great time!

They reminded me once again about the simple joys of life....life simply being a joy!

I made my first fondant birthday cake....I found a super simple recipe for the fondant...marshmallows (melted in the microwave with a teaspoon of water) and confectioner sugar! Mix and mix (add food coloring) and mix and voila! Super Easy (although time consuming)...it was like playing with playdoh and the best part was that Savvy helped make the cake. She cut the crowns using her cookie cutters and rolled balls with Mami. The cake and frosting inside SOOOOOOO yummy....and {dairy free} of course! It is the recipe from the side of the cocoa powder container...for the frosting we substituted almond milk for cow's milk and YUMMY!

So this is what my week has been busy with...cleaning the house, making the cake and other goodies and throwing the "Best Birthday Party Ever!" according to Savvy....like I told my hubby that morning...it doesn't have to be perfect...it just has to be special...and that was exactly what it was!

To Our Donor Angel's Family - Thank You for giving us the memories of the past 3 years...without the most amazing Gift of Life that you have given our family in allowing your angel to give our Warrior Princess her new liver...we would not have had this celebration...There are no words...I have tried to find them...There is simply a love and gratitude that we hold in our hearts for the amazing Gift you have given us....Thank You!

I am a BJ's member but I have to confess that I have not used my membership in almost a year...my membership is about to expire this month! I tell you this because you may be in the same situation that I was in. I knew BJ's had some amazing deals on products and during the holiday season is when you see absolutely gorgeous items in the stores but I wanted to use my membership for the daily groceries. I had understood that one could use more then one manufacturer coupon on products that were bundled but when I had asked a customer service rep. I as told that they would accept the BJ's coupon if available and only one manufacturer coupon...well this was wrong.

I recently attended a get together held by BJ's and got a copy of the coupon policy! I bet you will be surprised that you can get BJ's coupons online and print them out! And yes they accept printable manufacturer coupons too!

I am going to copy and paste it so you can read it. You can print it and shop away...this is the season of holiday parties so a great way to save a few dollars is to buy in the larger quantities as offered by BJ's and use those coupons!

I am super excited to let you know two things...I was given a $25 gift card to use at the store and I purchased a Cotton Candy machine for Savvy's birthday fiesta...but wait...this is why I am excited...this machine is so super easy to use...all you do is put in a piece of hard candy and viola....cotton candy!!! That means you can use sugar free candy and for us...DAIRY free candy!!! WOOHOOOO!!! And the part that thrills me is that I was given a gift card for one of you! Yup! How cool was that of BJ's?! Yum Yum Dish {Review}

I knew I was getting a Yum Yum Dish to review but when I opened the box I honestly thought there was a mistake...then I think that is what makes this dish simply smart.

The Yum Yum Dish is 4 oz...a perfect portion for your snacks and that is what floored me. It is a very small bowl and that is the point. The bowls I use to give myself a snack (let's be real...I will eat straight from the bag many times) and give Savvy a snack are huge compared to the Yum Yum bowl....and it hits you over the head how much I have been over eating and over feeding!

The bowls are painted and do look a bit home-made...I think they are cute but more importantly what the bowl does is remind you that "Yum Yum time is ... Over"...yup...put down the bowl you have eaten your snack. This is a great idea and perfect if you are trying to loose weight or regain a healthy eating portion. This product is labeled for ages 8 and up and I can certainly understand why the company does this....but Savvy had a great time making gummies with this kit...WITH Adult Supervision! My daughter, Savvy, has a severe dairy allergy and I am limited to treats I can purchase for her. I have purchased gummies for her and she loves them but some have milk in them or processed in a plant with milk so they are off limit...this kit...is All Natural and DAIRY FREE!! Cahootie {Review}

Remember when you were a kid you played that paper game with your friends where you opened and closed the corners and answered questions ... kinda hard to describe but I know that as soon as you visit Cahootie.com you will go..Yeah...I remember!

Cahootie has the modern version of this simple and fun game...I know all of the girls in my school played this game but the cool thing about the Animal Planet version of Cahooties is that the boys can play too! My nephews loved this game...a super way to keep them entertained in car rides! The boys got the Animal Planet Cahooties to review but there are a bunch of different adorable versions as well...I think the Birthday Wishes one pictured on the right would be an adorable party favor or gift for girls during a slumber party! Super cute for ages 7 and up.

You know I LOVE it when companies give back and this company does just that! And they give to children's organizations which you know I am partial too.

You know when you look at a product and you say to yourself, "why didn't I think of that?!" Well, that is exactly what I thought when I received my Reverse-A-Purse. I am like (should I generalize??? Yup...I will) 95% of all woman ... I love purses! I had an obsession with purses prior to it being replaced by my good ole diaper bag! Now, I love purses but I am much more practical about things....some would say...{frugal} :) And that is why I {Adore} the idea behind this purse...or purses...I am not sure which I should use.

I have used the black purse with no cover and I have used both sides of my cover and it gives it a completely different look!!!!! And you can purchase new covers for your purse so you don't have to keep buying a new purse and changing them out....I KNOW...why didn't I think of that?!

Bill Zimmerman - Your Life in Comics and Pocket Doodles for Young Artists

I received 2 books by Bill Zimmerman to review and although the books are different the concept is the same. The book Pocket Doodles for Young Artists is great for a young child (I would say about 7 and up) to use their imagination. The thing I really like about this is that it starts it off for your budding artist but then it can be taken anyway the imagination wants to go.....and they are "unplugged"...yup...good old fashion imagination! You don't have to be a great drawer just someone who likes to doodle and this is such an integral part of childhood. I loved to doodle in my notebooks...usually during my classes ;) Shhh..don't tell Savvy!

The second book is for a slightly older child but again a great concept. Your Life in Comics 100 Things for Guys to Write and Draw is a comic strip that is started for you and the artist finishes the strip. It is geared towards boys but I am not one to not give a girl a toy that is geared to boys. The stories come from your own life...what a cool idea!

Cowgirl Chocolates {Review}!

I almost feel guilty writing this review. I wish I had a giveaway for everyone who is reading this post because frankly this small package is {Delightful}! I received a box of truffles to taste from Cowgirl Chocolates and I almost didn't even want to open the box because it is just so darn pretty with a silver star and bow but ... I forced myself .. oh...what I won't do for you guys ;)

This sample box did not include your typical chocolates instead I got mild and spicy truffles...Yup...SPICY! Let me tell you..I never thought the words Habanero Caramel would come out of my mouth but not only are they...but the little piece of delight also went in!

My only negative part of the review is that the box wasn't big enough to share...or I wasn't big enough to share...okay I shared a tiny little bite with my hubby but darn it I wanted more! The Fancy Pants Gift Box I received retails for $12.95...a sweet little gift for the holidays!
