I spoke to our HOA yesterday and I am okay in registering my home childcare center...phew....that would have put a halt on a lot of research...guess I should have done that step first ;) I have my initial meeting with the state next Monday. I will then be completing my county application.
I am beyond excited! I don't mind the paperwork (frankly, I think there should be a TON of paperwork and checks, and double checks, and triple checks when you register as a child care provider). I am a former Child Protective Service worker and really encourage the checks and double checks....anything that helps keep a child physically and emotionally safe and nurtured....I will keep you updated on the progress....
