The entry for this giveaway is simple. Tell me about the favorite card you ever received. My favorite came from one of my sister's students. It was hand drawn and given to us when my daughter was awaiting her liver transplant. It said:
Savannah. I am sorry to hear you are dying. I am 8 years old and 8 is a good age. If you make it to 8 I have some really cute dresses I may let you borrow. Get well soon.
I still have this card...I hope to look this child up when Savannah is 8 and ask to borrow those really cute dresses...It was so honest and from the heart it just left us in laughter..seriously, tears running down our faces laughing...we needed that!
