Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent Review and {Giveaway}!

I have had the pleasure of reviewing Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut oil and as I mentioned in my review our family liked it a great deal!  I know a lot people already knew about Tropical Traditions yummy oil for cooking but did you know they make other household items?

I was sent the Powdered Laundry Detergent to try out and I have to tell you that it works really well!  I have an HE washer so I used less of the powder then the instructions required and that was fine.  The first load I used it on was probably not a "fair" load but you know when you are running your household sometimes you don't have time to worry about things...you just have to get it done.

I mention that it was not "fair" because it was a particularly smelly load.  I had washed some towels and forgot about them...shocking in my world of a 3 year old, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a lack of coffee  liquid gold that week...not a good combo!  I am sure this has happened to you in the past but you know that smelly rotten stench you get when you leave wet clothes in the washer for a day or so ... yup that was the first load I tried this product on!  (If you don't know the stench...my hats off to you!!!!!)  I had my fingers crossed and it worked...really well!

The only concern I have with the product ... not necessarily in my household since Savvy isn't allowed in the laundry room (cat litter is in this room and Savvy can not be exposed due to being immune suppressed) is that there is a clear warning that it can be an eye irritant...so for those of you with little one's you would have to make sure you keep it away from them but then I guess that is a given with household cleaning products.
