One of my FAVORITE sites EVER is having an AWESOME Giveaway!

THE LONG STORY:

Bakerella - if you have not heard of her...I am shocked!  But don't despair, I am here to guide you to her (Feel free to Thank me for bringing you into the Bakerella realm of cuteness!).  I have mentioned that my daughter had a liver transplant.  This was the hardest thing that I ever had to face in my life.  You see the liver transplant was not what frighten the living daylights out of me it was NOT being able to have her have a liver transplant.  1 in 3 people die awaiting an organ donation....just waiting without a chance to fight.  I KNEW in my heart if my Warrior Princess was given the chance that she would have an amazing life...she would kick liver disease in the tushy!!

I was home feeding my Warrior Princess one morning and I was scanning through the channels and saw this cute, bubbly woman making the CUTEST little "pops" on the Martha Stewart show.  Normally, I don't watch Martha Stewart because I can feel her looking through the t.v. at my home with such disapproval afterall I am the Queen of boxed brownies!  But there was something about her guest....on the show they mentioned she had a website and I ran to my laptop and looked it up....Oh my...Oh my....CUTENESS OVERLOAD!

I am not sure what possessed me but I decided to drop her a note as if she had nothing better to do then contact me and do me a favor (after all the Martha Stewart show is a bit more glam then a stay-at-home mom wiping the baby puke from her shirt).  I explained that my daughter had a liver transplant and that I wanted something cute to help spread the word....Organ Donors Save Lives...Please Become One.

Well....she wrote me back and the following was created by her....you can read the story here!

 Pops for a Purpose

Jenn,
You are very sweet! PLEASE tell me you bought the box tissues with a coupon...hmmmm...a $1 off maybe? LOL

I may never know what made our donor angel's family say YES in allowing us to have the most amazing Gift of all...was it a tv show, a discussion with a stranger, whatever it was I am grateful and for this reason I will never stop sharing our story...in honor of our donor angel...hoping that maybe just one person remembers the story of a little girl who has brought so much happiness to her family...maybe when it is the time to make this difficult decision during their grief ..they will remember to say YES and give someone else the Gift of Life.
