Wishing you a Happy Holiday Weekend!

I will be taking the next few days off to enjoy the long weekend with my family.  I actually had not planned to do this and was just going to continue blogging but then my little girl burned her hand on a hot motor this evening...she is okay.  We spent a great deal of time crying and tears flowing and finally after about 45 minutes she was able to calm down and guess what...those cheap little party favors we bought...well...they were {priceless}.  As she layed on the sofa watching Thomas the Train holding her little hand she wore her "party hat" and held onto her "party blower" with her good hand...it was a sad and yet precious all at the same time.

Savvy, my daughter, reminded me that time is the most {precious} gift of all.  You see while she was crying with tears running down her eyes and her hand under the faucet with cold water running on it ... I just wanted to make her feel better.  I asked her if she wanted to go to the store and buy a toy (this is not an offer my daughter hears from me normally)...I thought she would say, Yes!  I want a new doll, train, Tiara...whatever...heck I would have gone for a car if the tears of pain would have been wiped away....and then she says with tears running down her face and shaking her head, "No Mama...I want Mami"....That was it for me.

She is now in bed with her princess doll {although SHE is the true princess} and for the next few days I will focus on the treasure I have at home...the one money simply can not buy...my family.  I hope that each and every one of you wonderful {Frugalista's} have a wonderful holiday weekend!  I will be back on Tuesday morning blogging away...My hubby has Monday off!! Yeah!!

I do have wonderful {Giveaways} ending tomorrow night HERE and HERE.  I will post the winners on Tuesday morning as well as some new reviews and giveaways...no worries...if you leave a comment I will approve them on Tuesday prior to picking the winners.

Sending you all love and hugs...they are {Free} and yet Priceless!

Sorry about Savvy's hand. I hope you have a nice little getaway.

The tears hold mommy's heart hostage and the hugs make them better.

Poor baby. I burnt my hand really bad the other day and wanted to cry about it too. Hope she's doing better now.
